DIVISION REPORT
OF 3/9/10
 
The Membership Division met last week to
address an ambitious agenda.
 
 Division members are engaged in developing
more effective communication tools and
networking opportunities by which to promote
Chamber members. 
 
The Chamber’s website has been reviewed in
depth and updated as needed. All Chamber
members have the opportunity to include the
web link in their company’s profile. If you
need your business’ entry updated on the
Chamber’s web site, call Kelly or Janet at
the office and they will take care of that
for you. Look for your business under the
“Business Finder” tab. Additionally, an
electronic map has been added to the home
page making it easier for visitors and 
people new to the community to find you.  
 
This Division conducted a survey of members
this month to determine the kinds of training
opportunities that are important to Chamber
businesses.  Marketing was a top priority. To
address this need, the first training has
been scheduled for April 6. Mark your
calendars now and watch for registration
information.
 
Standardized notices have been developed for
Chamber events to help members recognize them
easier, which facilitates a better  flow of
information. For example, all updates from
Division Meetings will come to you in the
format found here.
 
The Membership Division has worked diligently
to standardize the Chamber’s membership
investment fee schedule. The realign of this
fee schedule is applied equitably to all
members and is a schedule that better
supports our Chamber. Additionally, the
Chamber is encouraging member businesses to
provide email addresses  of multiple key
employees so that more than one or two people
within an organization are getting
notification of Chamber sponsored activities
and events.
 
This Division meets on the second Tuesday of
the month at 11:30 AM. We would love to have
you join us in this work that is essential to
the ongoing improvement of our Chamber.  Add
