The Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet is the largest business meeting and networking event in Iberia Parish. It serves as the annual meeting for our chamber members, while also welcoming community leaders and guests.
The evening begins as more than 300 attendees arrive and gather for a networking reception. During this time, guests enjoy catered tastings from a variety of local restaurants. As dinner is served, attendees are invited to vote for their favorite dishes, with First, Second, and Third Place “Plate Awards” presented prior to the start of the program.
Following the awards presentation, the Banquet Chair takes the stage to recognize both the outgoing and incoming Chairpersons of the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce. This moment honors the dedication and service of the outgoing Chairperson while welcoming the incoming leader who will guide the Chamber in the year ahead.
One of the evening’s highlights is the keynote presentation. The Annual Banquet has hosted a diverse range of distinguished speakers, including community leaders, notable public figures, and sports Hall of Famers.
The Chamber also takes this opportunity to recognize outstanding contributions to the Iberia Parish community. One individual is honored with the Outstanding Civic Service Award, a tradition dating back to 1947, recognizing exemplary volunteerism and commitment to community service.
In addition, two businesses are recognized with Business Impact Awards. These awards celebrate organizations that have recently demonstrated growth, innovation, or diversification. They reflect the Chamber’s commitment to promoting a culture of entrepreneurship, resilience, and success within our local business community.
