Haley Miller Joins McDonald's Owner/Operators During Woman's Empowerment Month
[New Iberia Native ushers in the third generation of McDonalds Ownership in the Acadiana Area]
[New Iberia, LA 3/26/21] New Iberia native, Haley Miller, has recently been approved by McDonald’s as an Owner/Operator. She joins an illustrious group of business professionals, that together, run the largest and most successful Quick Service restaurant franchise in history.
Miller’s grandparents started the first generation of Miller Ownership with the opening of their Abbeville restaurant in 1982. Since then, the business has grown to 10 McDonald’s restaurants that are run by Miller’s parents, Larry and Denise Miller. Miller Management owns and operates 10 Acadiana restaurants spanning Iberia, Lafayette, St Martin, St Mary and Vermillion parishes.
Haley began the third generation of Miller Management Ownership earlier this month when she was officially approved by McDonald’s. Haley is a graduate of Catholic High School of New Iberia where she was a stand out Pole Vaulter for the Panther Track and Field team. She went on to graduate with a degree in Psychology from Tulane University and a MBA form the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Miller is involved in a wide range of organizations within the McDonald’s system. She is a member of WON, the Women’s Operator Network, a group of female McDonald’s Owner/Operators that are responsible for advancing female voices within McDonalds. She is a member on the Board of Directors for the Southern Louisiana Chapter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, a nonprofit group dedicated to helping families in Southern Louisiana with medical bills and housing. She is also a member of the South Louisiana Regional McDonald’s Co-Op Economics Team where she studies and presents economic information and trends to Owner Operators in Southern Louisiana.
