Local Restaurants Receive Recognition

The highly coveted first plate was awarded to Jane’s Seafood & Chinese for their signature combination fried rice.

Guidry’s Cake Shop took home second plate with their delectable red velvet petit fours.

Misfits Dine & Drink took home third plate by serving a savory chicken speziato.

One of the most entertaining highlights of the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Banquet is the awarding of first, second, and third plate awards to three local restaurants. The event features tastings from different restaurants and caterers around town. Attendees cast live votes for their favorite tasting of the evening. The 2021 GICC Annual Banquet featured twelve restaurants and over 300 people cast their vote at the event!

Participating restaurants included Misfits Dine & Drink, Bon Creole Lunch Counter, Iberia Medical Center, Raising Canes Chicken Fingers, Jane’s Seafood & Chinese, Distillerie Acadian, Fezzo’s Seafood & Steakhouse, Guidry’s Cake Shop, Pedro’s Tacos & Tequila, Olympus Greek & Lebanese, and Fremin’s Food & Furniture.
