Young Chefs Get Big Opportunity at the Youth Gumbo CookOff

The most important part of tradition is the passing of customs from one generation to the next. The World Championship Gumbo CookOff takes pride in continuing the tradition of cooking a delicious gumbo through the Youth World Championship Gumbo CookOff every year. This year, the event is proudly sponsored by LA Classic Roofing. The event takes place on the Saturday of Gumbo Weekend (October 8th & 9th), and serving begins at 3pm. The Chamber’s friends at LA Classic Roofing will assist your team in finding a competing gumbo team to sponsor your group as you prepare and compete just like an official gumbo team would!
